i.Description of service
Kio Cam is a digital photo booth application for iPhone and iPad that lets you take or import photos, apply frames, stickers, text overlays, film filters, and create custom photo strip layouts. It also includes Photo, Burst and Ghost modes; Burst can export animated GIFs. All photo processing happens on your device. Read the privacy policy for details.
ii.Eligibility
You may use Kio Cam at any age. The app does not collect personal information and is safe for all users. If you are under 13, please use the app with parental guidance. By using Kio Cam, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
iii.User content
- You retain all rights to the photos you take or import through Kio Cam.
- All photos are processed and stored locally on your device only.
- We do not access, view, collect or store any of your photos or creations.
- You are solely responsible for the content you create and share using the app, including obtaining consent from anyone visible in your photos before sharing publicly.
iv.Free and Pro features
- Free tier. Kio Cam is free to use with all core photo booth features, including every photo layout (1, 2, 3, 4 and 6-cut), in-app camera with Photo, Burst and Ghost, film filters, the custom frame builder, free frames and free stickers.
- Kio Cam Pro. Additional features (100+ premium frames, 60+ canvas textures, 100+ premium stickers, eight gradient borders, premium typography, saved custom templates, ad-free experience) are available through an in-app subscription.
- Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Monthly and yearly subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Lifetime purchase availability may vary by storefront or app version.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings, your name, Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad.
- Subscription pricing is displayed inside the app and may vary by region and currency.
v.Advertising
The free version of Kio Cam may display ads served by Google AdMob. Free users may also watch optional rewarded video ads to temporarily unlock individual premium items for a single session (up to twice per day per item). Ad behaviour is subject to your App Tracking Transparency choice on iOS. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
vi.Intellectual property
- The app, including its design, code, frames, stickers, textures, icons, sounds and other visual assets, is owned by Dheshaflow and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or reverse-engineer any part of the app.
- Photo frames, stickers and textures provided in the app are licensed for personal, non-commercial use within the app only. For commercial use of bundled assets, contact getkiocam@gmail.com.
- "Kio Cam" and the Kio Cam logo are trademarks of Dheshaflow.
vii.Prohibited uses
You agree not to:
- Use the app to create, distribute or share illegal, harmful, hateful or non-consensual content.
- Use the app to harass, defame or infringe on the rights of others.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile or extract source code from the app.
- Circumvent premium features, subscription requirements or in-app purchase controls.
- Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction.
viii.Disclaimer of warranties
Kio Cam is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
ix.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dheshaflow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of photos, loss of profits or business interruption. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the app is to stop using it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.
x.Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, surface a notice inside the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
