Manage your Pro subscription

Cancelling or modifying Kio Cam Pro happens through Apple, not us.

  1. Open iPhone Settings, tap your name at the top
  2. Tap Subscriptions
  3. Find Kio Cam Pro and tap to cancel or modify
  4. Pro access remains until the end of the billing period
  5. To restore: open Kio Cam, tap Upgrade to Pro, then Restore

Camera or photo access not working

Permissions can drift out of sync after an iOS update.

  1. Open Settings, Kio Cam
  2. Make sure Camera, Photos and Microphone are set to Allow
  3. Restart Kio Cam (swipe up, swipe it away, reopen)
  4. If it still fails, delete the app and reinstall from the App Store

Frames or stickers won't download

  • Premium assets stream from a CDN. Check Wi-Fi or cellular.
  • Tap the download icon next to the item to retry.
  • Downloaded assets are cached, you only download once.

Can't save to camera roll

  • Go to Settings, Kio Cam, Photos
  • Set to Add Photos Only or Full Access
  • Try saving again, should work immediately

App crashing or freezing

  • Force-quit and reopen Kio Cam
  • Restart your iPhone
  • Check the App Store for an update
  • Email us your iPhone model + iOS version

Tips for great photo strips

  • Lighting beats everything. A window at midday is better than any filter. A soft LED ring light at events makes guests glow.
  • The 4-cut layout is the classic, the one people recognize as a "photo booth" strip.
  • Tap and hold a photo slot to swap, retake, or remove the photo.
  • Apply the film filter first, then stickers and text on top, so the texture feels integrated.
  • For weddings, build a custom frame with the date and names already on it, then keep the device on a stable stand.
